What: We are excited to offer our second Fall Native Plant Sale. We will have a variety of Michigan native plants for different soil types, wetness, and sunshine levels. Our social media pages will have a series of posts spotlighting each species leading up to the sale. As you prepare it is good to think about whether you have clay or sandy soil, wet or dry soil, and how much direct sunlight the area receives each day. Native plants will be happy if you match them up on these three elements.
When and Where: Our sale will be on Saturday 26th August 10:30am - 3pm, or until supplies last. We will be outside on Adams Street alongside the PARC building in Plymouth.
Why: Did you know that September is a great time to plant? The soil temperate is perfect for root growth to take place before winter which will mean your plants will be bigger and more established by next summer.
Who: Our sale is in partnership with Michiganense Natives, who will kindly donate a significant portion of the proceeds to Plymouth Pollinators to help with our future projects, gardens, and education.
Volunteers: Our plant sales are big events for us, we can’t make it a success without volunteers. If you are able to help, please fill out this form.
