Our Story

Plymouth Pollinators started in the summer of 2019 by residents David and Carly Cirilli working alongside the City of Plymouth, Department of Municipal Services, to identify garden spaces where pollinator plants could be incorporated.

Their mission grew exponentially during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in the summer of 2020. While the world was in lock-down, this group expanded the scope of the gardens to larger public park spaces.

What We Do

The Plymouth Pollinator’s model for restoration is to add garden spaces within local cities and residential landscapes, one small space at a time.

We work with residents, small businesses, and municipalities to create a garden plan and provide educational materials on what to plant, the importance of native plants, the risks of pesticide use, and how to attract pollinators.

We believe that many small garden spaces can add up to a large and positive impact on pollinator habitat if planted with purpose and with the future in mind.
