We are excited to add a new garden space at the Knights of Columbus (Fire Station) park in Old Village. Please join us and install native plants to create a lovely pollinator garden for everyone to enjoy.
We want to thank Wildflower Association of Michigan (WAM) for selecting our proposal and awarding a grant to make this project possible by funding the plants, garden signs, bird houses and water sources for birds and pollinators. This garden will also become a certified National Wildlife Federation wildlife habitat.
What you will be doing: We will be planting native plants, weeding, and adding mulch. We will have snacks and water and there are picnic tables available for you to take a rest.
If weather conditions are poor, we will have a rain-out day for June 8th.
Please fill out the volunteer form if you are interested in joining us. Bring gloves, hand tools, and remember sunscreen.
