Winter sowing is a gardening technique that involves sowing seeds outdoors during the winter month, allowing them to naturally stratify and germinate when conditions are right in the Spring. Winter sowing in containers is a variation of this method where seeds are sown in containers instead of directly in the ground.

Please bring translucent or transparent container(s) with lids like milk or juice jugs, soda bottles, or clear plastic storage bins with clear lids. You may bring your own seeds or we will have native plant seeds available for purchase. Lastly, you may want to bring a pair of garden gloves since we'll be handling dirt. We will have some milk jugs onsite if needed.
